David Russell, principal of David Russell Design, grew up on an island near Seattle. He attended the University of Washington, where he earned a BFA in painting. The bright lights of New York City then pulled him to what became home for ten years and the training ground for his profession. Madison Avenue and Wall Street were his tutors. While working as an independent designer, David handled projects for clients such as American Express, VISA® and Lehman Brothers. One of his clients, the company now known as Citigroup, brought him on staff, where he worked as a senior designer. Returning to Seattle in 1995, David again founded his own design firm. Since that time David Russell Design has had the privilege of working with clients such as Washington Mutual, the Russell Investment Group and The United Way of King County, to name just a few.
